Penile Filler Nodules and Irregularities

A nodule is a discrete firm area that can develop at or near an injection site. An irregularity more broadly can also mean an uneven contour or a texture that feels inconsistent with the surrounding tissue, rather than a single firm lump specifically.

Product distribution during treatment, individual tissue response, and how the treated area has settled can all contribute to how a nodule or irregularity develops. As with migration, which factor is relevant for a given presentation is an individual question, not a general one.

Some firmness is expected in the early weeks as swelling resolves and the product integrates with surrounding tissue. A new nodule that appears well after that settling period, or an irregularity that doesn't gradually soften the way the rest of the result does, is a more reasonable trigger for assessment than firmness noticed in the first days or weeks.
